Change is inevitable... so why do I feel lousy?

A few things were shaken up at work today. Apparently I’ve got nothing to worry about as far as my job is concerned. Still, I’m a bit uneasy; nobody really expects it when things sneak up on ‘em sideways. I probably am worked up over this because it’s the first time I’ve really seen it happen at a place I’m employed. It’s always been something I’ve read in the newspaper or such. It’s quite different to experience things first hand.
It certainly doesn’t help when I’ve just made the largest purchase I’ve ever made, and I’ve got bills on my mind. They shouldn’t be a problem. Getting entirely out of debt (and otherwise staying there) is a big concern of mine. It took me a couple of years to find this job (my first since graduating from college), so I’m not exactly confident that I’ll be able to find a new job very quickly should the need arise.
I’ve got an early morning meeting tomorrow. I’m so not a morning person. I imagine it’s equally annoying when night owls keep going when the morning folk are turning in for the evening.
